Each year, more than $435 million in recyclable material goes to landfills around the state of Michigan. Plastics, metals, glass, paper, ceramic and more could be re-purposed to save space in landfills, and help keep the environment clean.

The residential recycling rate is estimated at 15%. We are behind most of the US.
We occasionally find ourselves in the grand city of Cadillac, Michigan. On our ventures, we find ourselves asking, "I wonder if there is an establishment in which we can recycle our used papers, aluminum, glasses, and/or plastics. To answer that question, there are some wonderful recycling places in the big city of Cadillac. One of them is
Ms. Green Shredding & Recycling Center. They come to your house and pick up your recycling. You sort out your cardboard, plastic and paper. Every other Friday they will go to your house and pick up your recycling and take care of it for you. The do pick it up for you but there is a fee.
